As we travel as we seek

“As we travel, as we seek” is a textile-led spatial installation inspired by nomadic shrines. These sacred, portable anchor points are carried by moving communities across landscapes. They are not merely places of worship but fluid sanctuaries where ritual, ancestry, and nature converge. The installation draws from this tradition to reimagine a shrine that embodies movement, impermanence, and the sacredness of the natural world. It emphasises the transient yet eternal nature of faith and culture, reflecting how spiritual life among nomadic communities is not bound to fixed architecture but flows through rivers, mountains, trees, and the objects they carry.
