Midnight and Daylight is a series that reflects on the dual nature of the self and the quiet performance embedded within everyday existence. The works explore the contrast between the artist’s daytime self shaped by social expectations, politeness, and the subtle act of pleasing the world around her and the self revealed at night, stripped of performance and left completely bare in solitude. Philosophically, the series questions whether identity is something authentic or continuously constructed through interaction. Moving between concealment and vulnerability, the works inhabit the fragile space between who we become for others and who we are when no one is watching.
