Ornamentation is an early exploratory work that investigates the relationship between embroidery and paper as mediums. Created as an experiment in surface and materiality, the work reflects on the act of embellishment and the human tendency to ornament objects and spaces. Through repetitive stitched interventions, the artwork transforms the surface into a tactile and meditative visual language.
